He was predeceased by: his parents, Oley Hanson and Rosa Hanson (Simonson); and his siblings, Marian Downing, Norma Lukken, Lyla Lindrud, Thelma Payne, Orvy, Vernon and Maynard Hanson.
He is survived by: his wife Carol A. Tenney; his daughters, Nancy Long (Jeff) of Newton, Pam Henderson (Terry) of Rogers and Sherri Jahnke (Scott) of Maple Grove; and his grandchildren, Brandon Henderson (Kayla), Dr. Brit Long (Sarah), Briana Sanders (Jared), Amanda Henderson, Dr. Drew Long (Annie Chow) and Kelsey Bjornstad (Bob). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
