He is survived by: his siblings, Dennis Stende (Jo Ann) of Parkers Prairie and Di Ann Stende of Alexandria; his nieces, Joy Davis (Todd) and Melody Adams (Joseph); his nephew Jesse Stende (Ashley); and his great-nieces, Aspen Adams, Malena Davis and Sloan Stende. He is also survived by several cousins and friends.
