He was predeceased by: his parents, Helmer Nelson and Melissa Nelson (Hopkins); his nephew Terry Anderson; and his brother-in-law Jerry Anderson. He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his children, Jody Dahlk (Steve) of Ham Lake and Kyle Nelson (Lisa) of North Branch; his grandchildren, Jarett Nelson, Alex Dahlk, Connor Nelson and Zachary Dahlk; and his siblings, Cheryl Doose (Gordon) of Garfield and Vance Nelson (Mary) of Blaine. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
