It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Stafford Valtinson of Park Rapids, Minnesota, born in Deer River, Minnesota, who passed away on September 2, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Valtinson and Elvie Valtinson; his former wife Wanda Claflin; and his wife Carol Scheerer. He is survived by: his children, Connie Valtinson Ingram of Bemidji, MN, Kathy Vallee (Jon) of Magna, UT and Bill Valtinson II (Darlene) of Eugene, Oregon; his stepdaughters, Val Christopherson (Charlie) of Alexandria, MN and Jan Moynihan (Brian) of Eagan, MN; and his sister Barbara Monson of Washington. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, family asks that memorials be made to St. Joseph's Hospice.
