He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Fix and Jean Fix (Beyer); and his brothers, Robert Fix and Gail Fix. He is survived by: his former wife Debra Johnson; his daughters, Carrie Doran (Rick) of Detroit Lakes, MN and Amber Kania of Hankinson, ND; his grandchildren, Juliana Orner, Calyse Gutzmer, Keira Kania and Camilla Kania; his brothers, Larry Fix and Emery Fix; his close friend Debra Amundson; his stepchildren, Machelle Velaski (Dave) and Bobbi Lende (Brian); his stepgrandchildren, Damon Simonson, Kadin Lende and Kain Lende; and his pet Freya.
