She is survived by: her children, Steven Hess (Judy) of Menahga, Minnesota, Jeffrey Hess (Arlys) of Nevis, Minnesota and Cynthia Schultz (Arnie) of Richey, Montana.; her daughter-in-law Linda Hess of Laguna Niguel, California; her sister Ila Latham of Kingsport, Tennessee; her brother-in-law Robert Schafer of Waconia, Minnesota.; her grandchildren, Trace Johnson, Michael Hess (Katie), Stephanie Holden (Gavin), Austin Schultz, CJ Hess (Christina Babcock) and Lindsey Nemeth; and her great grandchildren, Madison Hess, Isabel Hess, Luke Holden, Jonah Holden, Hayden Nemeth and Luke Nemeth. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
