He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hocking and Delores Hocking (Hanson); and his brother Jerry. He is survived by: his wife Rita Gangl; his daughter Jackie Beavers (Darren); his grandchildren, Jane and Roland Beavers of Bertha, MN; his son Scott Hocking (Jolynn); his grandchildren, Ashley and Zach Hocking of Park Rapids; and his siblings, William Hocking (Amy) of Abilene, TX, Dale Hocking (Dolly) of Rosemount, MN, Diane Schwede (Stan) of St. Charles, MO and Carol Johnson (Brad) of Hibbing, MN. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking to send memorials to the Roger Hocking Memorial Fund at Citizens National Bank in Park Rapids.
