He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Tandsater and Cecilia Tandsater (Kreis); his brother Gary Tandsater; his daughter-in-law Denise Tandsater; his grandson Mathew Tandsater; and his great grandchild Conner Rokke.
He is survived by: his significant other Darlene Helen Buzick of Argusville, ND; his children, Tina Johanning (Buzz), Cynthia Little (Tim) of Park Rapids, MN, Jeffrey Tandsater (Trish) of Park Rapids, MN and Martin Tandsater (Jenny) of Browntown, MN; his sisters, Doris Rogers of Loveland, CO, Marlys Tandsater and Joan Peterson (Gary) of Fargo, ND; and his sister-in-law Tamara Tandsater of Argusville, ND. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
