He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Kiefert and Pearl Kiefert (Libing); his wife Shirley Paulson; his children, Susan, Carol and Steven; and his siblings, Lois, Harold, Orlin and Arnold.
He is survived by: his children, Judy Petrie (Randy) of Brainerd, Nancy Dickinson of Park Rapids, Barbara Hildebrandt of Osage, Connie Paulson of Philadelphia, PA, LeRoy Paulson (Sandra) of Park Rapids and Nyla James (Daniel) of Adkins, TX; and his siblings, Verla Putnam (Ray) of Menahga, Florence Booth of Barnesville, MN, Ned Kiefert of Benson, MN, Claris Kron (Dick) of Grasston, MN and Marlin Kiefert (Liz) of Glencoe, MN. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; many precious great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
