She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo P. Unger and Louise Unger (Didier); her husband Paul Bentler; her son Gordy; her grandson Eric; and her siblings, Jerome, France, Leo, Bill, Francis, Dick, Alexia Sanders, Jane Lull, Irene Drehsen, Margaret Messerich and Rita.
She is survived by: her sons, Wayne (Lois) of Two Harbors, MN, Mark (Deb) of Cle Elum, WA, David (Wanda) of Park Rapids, MN, John (Laura) of Park Rapids, MN, Dean (Terri) of Bemidji, MN, Dan (Teri) of Park Rapids and Rick (Jill) of Chico, CA; her daughter-in-law Marcy Johnson (Daune) of Garfield, MN; and her siblings, Betty Campbell of Minneapolis, MN, Loraine Morgan of Fullerton, CA and Bob Unger of Minneapolis. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Cease Family Funeral Home of Park Rapids (710 1st St W, Park Rapids, MN 56470). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church (305 5th St W, Park Rapids, MN 56470). A burial was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. James Catholic Cemetery (403 E Minnesota Ave, Randall, MN 56475).
