She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Salzman and Dorothy Salzman (Krueger); her husband Verle; and her sister Phyllis. She is survived by: her children, Brian (Carole), Brenda Norby (Steve) and Linda Dols (Dan); and her siblings, Evelyn Salzman of Cannon Falls and Stephen Salzman of Trimont. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Marilyn's memory can be made to the Evangelical Covenant Church at 61 East Main Street in Trimont, Minnesota.
