She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Franks and Katherine Franks (Becker); her husband LaVere James; her siblings, Virginia Guegel, Charlotte Anderson and Arnold Franks; and her daughters-in-law, Jean James and Vickie James.
She is survived by: her children, Dianna Sheldon (Lee) of Eagan, MN, Danny James (Melissa) of Toquerville, UT, Joan Dudley (Maynard) of Carson, WA, Ronald James (Kory) of Park Rapids and Roger James (Lorie) of Carson, WA; and her sister Beverly Pearson of Park Rapids. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild.
