She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Fransen and Viola Fransen (Peterson); her husband Maurice A. Thayer; her brother Bruce Fransen; her daughter-in-law Mary Esther Thayer (Yoder); and her grandchildren, Isaiah John Thayer, Heide Jean Thayer, Justina Jeanette Thayer, Dorthea Louise Thayer, Bernadine Elizabeth Thayer and Rose Morrison.
She is survived by: her children, Debra (Jerome), Wright of Osage, MN, Richard "Leroy" Thayer (Ruth) of Tryon, OK and Bradley Thayer (Patti) of Houston, TX; her sister Maxine Groves; and her siblings-in-law, Gladys Yeo and Neil Gustafson. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren; and 38 great-great grandchildren.
