It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harriet Virginia Green (Park Rapids, Minnesota), born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who passed away on April 9, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Arvid Westlund and Mabel Westlund (Olson); her spouse Solon A. Green; her son Gregory; her brother Chuck; her children, Jeff Green (Sandy) of Park Rapids, Jan Rumpza (Don) of Park Rapids and Jacie Ward (Greg) of Bemidji; her siblings, June Jorgenson of Big Fork, MT, Betty Jorgenson of Colorado Springs, CO and Dick Westlund of Colorado Springs, CO; and her aunt Florence Hensel of Park Rapids, MN. She was also cherished by grandchildren; 20 precious great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter with a great great grandson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Riverside Memorial Garden, Cottey College, Headwaters Animal Shelter or the Park Rapids Area Community Band.
