He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Eva Green (McClain) and John Harvey Green; his son Douglas; and his brothers, John, Glenn and Donald Green.
He is survived by: his husband George Jorgenson; his children, Joanie, Joan Long of Park Rapids and Jeff Green of Park Rapids; and his grandson Trevor Long (Sheina) of Chaska, MN.. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
