Charles left this world on January 22, 2025 at the age of 79, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank and Marie (Stuntebeck); and his siblings, Dick Schmitz and Mary Jane Cox. He is survived by: his wife Coral J. Schmitz of Park Rapids, MN; his daughters, Kristi Goochey (Aaron) of Park Rapids, MN and Pamela Christianson (Kent) of Fargo, ND; his grandchildren, Mitch, Nick, Dan Christianson, Macy and Emmy Goochey; his sister Sally Lorentz; and his sister-in-law Karen Hall.
A prayer will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 7:00 AM. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church (305 5th St W, Park Rapids, MN 56470).
