Ann Joan Aeling Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ann Joan Aeling (Park Rapids, Minnesota), born in Rapid City, South Dakota, who passed away on August 28, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Hollis C. Devers and Gladys E. Devers (Bovee); her husband Dean; her parents-in-law, Marion and Ernest Aeling; her siblings-in-law, George Thompson, Donald Aeling and Clare Aeling; and her niece Cheryl Aeling.

She is survived by: her children, Steven Aeling (LaNette) of Hewitt, MN, Nancy Jensen (Tim) of Buffalo, MN, David Aeling (Wendy) of Waconia, MN and Teri "TJ" Larocca (Robert) of Coon Rapids, MN; her grandchildren, Madison LaTourelle (Dave), Dakota Aeling (Brittany Greenwood), Autumn Flickinger (Brandon), Amy Jo Zitur (Jon), Cassie Miller (Bryce), Shannon Jensen, Nick Jensen (Shelby Singer), Eric Aeling (Megan), Bethany Aeling-Bohmert (Tim), Ryan Larocca and Luke Larocca; her great grandchildren, Aria LaTourelle, Etta LaTourelle, Tryg LaTourelle, Olivia DeYonge, Quinn Aeling, Walker Aeling, Harper Flickinger, Ayla Jo Zitur, Dawson Zitur, Miller, June Aeling and Cameron Aeling; and her sister Janice Thompson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers the families prefer memorials to MN United Women of Faith or The Loon Project run by Dr. Walter Piper.
