She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Schabacker and Marcella Schabacker (Sprauge); her husband Dennis Peterson; her son Douglas Peterson; and her siblings, James Schabacker, Sharon and Marvin Schabacker.
She is survived by: her daughters, Shawn Russell (Michael) and Sara Lutteke (Barry); her grandchildren, Burgin Russell, Justine Saufferer, Christian Russell, Molly Russell, Kameron Lutteke and Mariah Lutteke; her great grandchildren, Alexander, Evelyn Saufferer, Ulysses and Hiroko Russell; her siblings, Alberta Grunklee (Orvin), Joyce Vesely, Bernadine Haydon (Ken), Scheral Lau and Terry Schabacker; and her sister-in-law Debbie Schabacker (LaVonne Thompson). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Owatonna, MN.
