He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Stenzel and Helen Stenzel (Kukuzke); his wife Kathleen; and his brothers, Stanley, Emil, Leroy, Marvin and David.
He is survived by: his children, Peter Stenzel (Penny) of Owatonna, Tim Stenzel (Audrey) of Kasson, Linda Matejcek (Troy) of Owatonna and John Stenzel (Barb) of Blooming Prairie; his granddaughters, Alicia and Danielle Stenzel; his children, Mitchell, Kendra Stenzel, Eric Matejcek (Nicole), Caleb Matejcek (Kristina), Rachael Stenzel (Chad Hilliard) and J. J. Stenzel (Mary); and his siblings, Dennis Stenzel (Laura), Therese McCue and Virginia Deyle. He is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
