He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Sprandel and June Sprandel (May); and his brother Arthur Sprandel. He is survived by: his wife Lois Binstock; his children, Mark Reul (Lynne) and Pam Reul; his granddaughters, Allison Peake (Nick) and Maria Brisson (Paul); his great grandchildren, Jax Peake and Leah Brisson; and his siblings, Lois Beaver (Greg) and Terry Sprandel.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family.
