We bid farewell to Robert C. Solum of Owatonna, Minnesota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 23, 2025 at the age of 82. Robert touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Solum and Ardine Solum (Jahnke); his siblings, Gary Solum and Diane Heine; his daughter-in-law Tracie Solum; and his sister-in-law VeeAnn Solum.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Solum; his children, Traci Solum, Todd Solum (Kristy) and Tim Solum (Tammy); his stepchildren, Jennifer Kukuczka (Marty), Jason Buck (Maria) and Julie Brass (Brent); his grandchildren, Stephanie, Anthony, Tayler, Benjamin, Marissa, Afton and Brooke; his stepgrandchildren, Jordan, Samuel, Liam and Madilyn; and his siblings, Mary Frisbie, David Solum and Judy Oelerking. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Savior's Lutheran Church (1909 St Paul Rd, Owatonna, MN 55060).
Memorials are preferred to the Steele County Humane Society, or Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Owatonna.
