He was predeceased by: his wife Bonnie Lou Wiesman; and his brother Paul. He is survived by: his sons, Nathan Thompson (Carmen) of Edgerton, Eric Thompson (Anita) of Madison, WI, Dana Thompson (Jenny) of Kenyon and Ryan Thompson (Cindy) of Owatonna; his close friend Marilyn Nash; his grandchildren, Jordana, Garret, James, Lauren, Courtney, Logan, Nichele, Tyler and Savannah; his great grandchildren, Maxwell, Cullen, Bonnie and Aubree; and his brothers, Kent Thompson and Roger Thompson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorials are preferred to Allina Hospice, Izaak Walton League, the Owatonna Chapter.
