He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyonel Watkins and Helen Watkins; his siblings, Lisa Duckworth and Mark Watkins; and his parents-in-law, Leslie and Bessie Lutz.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Lutz (Peggy); his close friend Peggy of Owatonna, Minnesota; his sons, Kelly Watkins of Owatonna and Kerry Watkins (Lori) of Cary, Illinois; his grandchildren, Joshua Watkins, Jorden Watkins (Jessie), Amy Michel (Eric), Amanda McKevitt (Daryn), Andrew Watkins, Jared Watkins, Megan Watkins and Melissa Watkins; and his great grandchildren, Riley Kreeger, Kirra Kraay, Sevin DeLeo, Caleb Watkins, Brooklyn Watkins, Lexi Michel and Willow Watkins.
