She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph McDowell and Mabel McDowell (Routh); her husband Edward O'Brien Sr.; and her grandson Jacob O'Brien. She is survived by: her children, Edward O'Brien (Shelbie), Sara O'Brien, Ralph O'Brien (Penny) and Calvin O'Brien (Kristi Blaha); her grandchildren, Beth O'Brien (Josh Jerney), Erin O'Brien (Nate Mink), Kari Wilson (Adam), Rebecca Zimmer (Jared Gardow), Ryan Zimmer (Maddy Malz), Derek O'Brien (Lizz), Caitlin O'Brien, Hunter O'Brien (Katie Weise), Cody Blaha and Hunter Blaha; her great grandchildren, Reed, Elliot, Klara, Toby, Monica, Thomas, Caitlin, Alec, Mia, Corbin, Scarlett, Milo, Brody and Bentley; her sisters, Bev and Alice (Don); and her nephew Brian.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Brick - Meger Funeral Home (1603 Austin Rd, Owatonna, MN 55060). A memorial service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
