He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Wickman and Gloria Wickman (Johnson); and his friends, Stan Fagre and John Fagre. He is survived by: his wife Shari Wickman (Telschow) of Owatonna; his children, Andrew Wickman (Elaina) of Grand Forks, ND and Lindsay Wickman of Chicago; his sister Candace Wickman of York, PA; his grandchildren, Jace, Emmeline and Gavin Wickman; his stepmother Renee Wickman of Cebu, Philippines; his parents-in-law, Derald and Sandra Telschow of Owatonna; his sister-in-law Brenda Homeier (Curt) of Owatonna; his stepsons, Derek Beistad of Nashville, TN and Bradley Beistad of Owatonna; and his friends, Val, Dirk Johnson, Randy Bartos, Jeff Fagre and Vickie Heisler.
Perennials for a memorial garden are preferred in lieu of flowers. Donations in Joe's name may also be made to the National Brain Tumor Society (NBTS) or Gray for Glioblastoma.
