It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joel Curtis Boerner of Owatonna, Minnesota, who passed away on September 5, 2023, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Curtis Boerner and Betty Jane Boerner (Pavek); his daughter Mariah Grace Boerner; his parents-in-law, Crystal Peterson and George Peterson; and his sister Betty Lynn Boerner.
He is survived by: his wife Lisa Boerner (Peterson); his daughter Jessica Kathleen Boerner; his siblings, Douglas Boerner (Jackie), Michael Boerner (Cindy), Gail Christianson (Loran), Roxanne Biesterfeld (Tom) and Robin Christensen (Jeff); his siblings-in-law, George Peterson and Kathy Voracek; and his nephew Brandon Peterson. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
