He was predeceased by: his daughter Mary Jo Schroepfer; and his brothers, Bill Tupy and Jerry Tupy. He is survived by: his friend Joe; his close friend Best Furry Friend; his wife Gladys; his daughters, Gigi Sims (Mike Allwein), Marlene Schroeder, Diane Rouse (Mike), Kathy McEvers (Bruce) and Cindy (Doug Green); and his son-in-law Jerry Schroepfer. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation by made in Joe's memory to St. Mary's School or St. Joseph's Church in Owatonna.
