He is survived by: his wife Monie; his children, Tracey Patterson of Los Angeles, CA, Tony Fix (Nicole) of Rochester, MN and Angie Mullenbach (Dylan) of Buffalo, MN; his grandchildren, Jake Patterson, Carter Patterson, Gannon Fix, Hudson Fix, Sutton Fix, Nolan Mullenbach and Emry Mullenbach; his siblings, Sister Mary Fix of Aberdeen, SD, Monica VanderTuin and Jim Fix of Hot Springs, SD; his parents-in-law, Reenie and Jim Malsom of Aberdeen, SD; and his son-in-law Lane Patterson of Lakeville, MN.. He is also survived by many nieces/nephews.
