He was predeceased by: his wife Dee Halverson (Delores); his daughters, Jamie and Gina; and his grandchildren, Devin, Mercedes and Kayla.

He is survived by: his son Jason Dusek (Linda) of Faribault; his grandchildren, Alexia Cody (Drew) of Owatonna, Cole Dusek of Faribault and Kylie Dusek of Faribault; his great grandchildren, Holden and Bennett Cody; and his siblings, Jackie Butler, James Dusek and Joe Dusek (Lisa).
