He is survived by: his children, Gene Simonson (Mary) of Rochester, MN, LaVerne Simonson (Barb) of Eagan, MN, Ronald Simonson of Lakeville, MN, Douglas Simonson (Connie) of Rochester, MN, Larry Simonson of Owatonna, MN, Gail Drube of Shoreview, MN and Brian Simonson (Margaret) of Rochester, MN.; and his grandchildren, Jeremy, Jackie, Paul, Amanda, Jennifer, Tyler, Jill, April, Corrine, Jamie, Patrick, Dominic, Christopher, Ella, Seth, Ali, Owen, Kaia, Sophie, Chloe, Spencer, Amelia, Josie, Henry, Marcus, Alexander, Lilly, Addie and Maren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (2500 7th Ave NE, Owatonna, MN 55060). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials are preferred to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Traditions of Owatonna, or to Prairie Grace Hospice.
