He was predeceased by: his grandparents, German, Herman Sr. and Bertha Arndt (Rosin); his wife Donna Mae Johnson; his son Steve; his grandchildren, Kyle and Amy; and his father Herman.
He is survived by: his children, Francis Arndt (Benedict), Daniel Arndt (Roxanne), Kevin Arndt (Marian), Ken Arndt (Stephanie), Irwin Arndt (Becky), Julie Ebeling (Corky), Janet Vike (Duane), Melanie Wesely (Doug), Sara Ellerbusch (Todd) and Heidi Coulter (Jon); his daughter-in-law Sharon Arndt; his brother-in-law Maynard Johnson (Judy); and his grandson Adam. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John Lutheran Church (1301 Lincoln Ave S, Owatonna, MN 55060). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
