He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Johnson and Alice Johnson (Tollefson); his former wife Joyce Spatenka; and his sister Lenore Matejcek (Marshall). He is survived by: his wife Eloise Johnson (Miller) of Owatonna; his children, Dale Johnson (Lori), Daryl Johnson (Janet), Denise Schumacher, Kristine Bruhn (Tom) and Craig Johnson; his stepchildren, Christine Paquin (John), Cindy Wilson (Weston), John Pobanz (Tessa) and Jeff Pobanz (Carol Jensen); and his brother Gerald Johnson. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 12 step-grandchildren, 20 step-great grandchildren and 1 step- great, great grandchild.
Memorials are preferred to Pontoppidan Lutheran Church.
