She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Otto and Viola Otto; her sister Elaine Muehlenhardt; her niece Kathy Muehlenhardt; and her nephew Dana Otto.
She is survived by: her spouse Louis Heitkamp; her stepchildren, Chris Newkirk, Finch Newkirk and Annie Newkirk; and her brothers, Kenny Otto (Kris) of Belle Plaine, Roger Otto (Nancy) of Henderson and Dale Otto (Sherrie) of Waseca. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
