He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Schoenfeld and Helen Schoenfeld (Proehl). He is survived by: his wife Diane; his children, David Schoenfeld (Lisa), Surrey, British Columbia and Sirrekka Schoenfeld (Eddie Dainko); his grandchildren, Kaleb, Jacob and Mya; his siblings, Howard Schoenfeld (Mary Jo) of Faribault, MN, Gaylen Schoenfeld (Bonnie) of Lester Prairie, MN, Gordon Schoenfeld (Margaret) and Sandra Miller (David) of Oxnord, CA.; and his siblings-in-law, Anita Currer of San Jose, CA, David Currer, Wokingham, England and Ron Currer (Jan) of Dennison, MN. He is also survived by 14 step-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:50 AM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (2781 SW 92nd Ave, Waseca, MN 56093). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 1:15 PM at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery (7601 34th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55450).
