He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Strohschein and Ella Strohschein (Rotsolk); his wife Ramona Strohschein; his brother Edwin Strohschein (Arlys); and his parents-in-law, Ron Hanson, Gordon Hanson (Ingrid), Bernard Hanson and Beverly Etherton (Gene).
He is survived by: his children, Laurie Boeke (Dan) of Owatonna and John Strohschein (Shari) of Owatonna; his grandchildren, Matthew Boeke (Amy) of Detroit Lakes, Elizabeth Kirk (Joe) of North Branch, Crystal Goldman (Dan) of Duluth, Derek Strohschein (Kristina) of Owatonna and Heather Ewert (Tom) of New Prague; his great grandchildren, Mya, Jay, Griffin, Charlie, Dylan, Henry and Oliver; and his sisters-in-law, Patricia Hanson of Owatonna, Julie Kittleson (Roger) of Waterloo, IA and Glenda Hanson of Owatonna.
Memorials are preferred to Trinity Lutheran Church Mortgage Reduction Fund, Owatonna Foundation, Homestead Hospice Patient Care Fund or to the donor's choice.
