He was predeceased by: his parents, Del Salmonsen and Betty Salmonsen (Zimmer); his son Scott Salmonsen; his parents-in-law, Pat and Dorothy Connelly; his siblings-in-law, Niles Connelly, Ed Heilman and Judy Connelly; and his nephew-in-law Jack Kocur.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Connelly; his son Jeff Salmonsen (Deb); his grandchildren, Shelby Teske (Brandon), Taylor Statlander (Owen) and Camryn Salmonsen; his great grandchildren, Patty Stoessel (Pete), Ben Stoessel, Lyla Statlander and Easton Teske; his sister Joy Heilman; and his nephew Neil Heilman. He is also survived by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be directed to the Homestead Hospice House in Owatonna.
