He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harold Hale and Edith Hale (Broin); his wife Dorothy Hornstein; his children, Ben Hale of Owatonna, Bonnie Rodness of Sartel, MN and Brenda Jandl (Larry Ihrke) of Long Lake, MN.; his grandchildren, Michael Calva (Samatha), Cori Brewer (Jeremy), Emly Jandl, Matthew Jandl, Alex Werden (Press), Inga Gerads (Derek) and Hannah Judovsky (Zack); his sisters, Betty Orpen (Glen) and Ruth Miller (Ed); and his son-in-law Jim Rodness.
