She was predeceased by: her parents, George W. Kubista and Mary Kubista (Nelson); her husband Bernard Hanson; her brother Richard Kubista; and her daughter-in-law Mimi Barzen (Dan).
She is survived by: her children, Evie Grunwald (Tom) of Phoenix, AZ, Dan Hanson of Grand Rapids, Anita Soiseth (Lynn) of Anchorage, AK and Wendy Hanson (Frank Fork) of York, SC; her grandchildren, Jon Soiseth, Stephanie Wolanin, Nicole Soiseth, Krista Barzen-Hanson, Kyle Barzen-Hanson and Kevin Barzen-Hanson; her siblings, Eleanor Franke of Anchorage, AK, Norma Rausch of Osceola, WI and Ron Kubista (Gwen) of Blooming Prairie; her sister-in-law Evelyn Kubista of Blooming Prairie; and her caregivers, Julie, Teresa and Anna. She is also survived by four great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Michaelson Funeral Home - Owatonna (1930 Austin Rd, Owatonna, MN 55060).
In lieu of flowers or food, Family suggests memorials to Rachel's Light or Community Pathways of Steele County.
