It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred Ulrich of Owatonna, Minnesota, born in Emmetsburg, Iowa, who passed away on January 6, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil, Sr. Ulrich and Lena Ulrich (Dobberstein); his wife Helen Ulrich; and his siblings, Carl, Emil Jr., Ella Hanson, George, William, Richard, Robert, Herbert, Hans, Earl, Frank and Sally Costello.
He is survived by: his sisters, Anna Marie Miller of New Prague and Mary Lou Bettin of Savage; and his sisters-in-law, Doris Ulrich of Owatonna, Dee Ulrich of Owatonna, Marge Ulrich of Albert Lea and Kris Ulrich of Pemberton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
