He was predeceased by: his parents, John George Henry Rassman and Alice Gertrude Rassman (Heide); his siblings, Wayne, Allan, Mary Anderson and Loretta Moe; and his sister-in-law Kay Rassman.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Mae Christey; his daughter Rebecca Kay Sharpshair (Kenneth); his grandchildren, Douglas, Patrick and Christey Sharpshair (Greg Zarse); and his siblings, Robert, Gordon (Gladys) and Betty Buss of Owatonna. He is also survived by 17 nieces and 16 nephews.
