He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Kretlow and Ella Kretlow (Gillespie); his brothers, Marvin Orlo Kretlow and Claude Earl Kretlow; and his brother-in-law Alan Tinnerstet.

He is survived by: his wife Judy Reese; his children, Angie Paige (Paul) of Big Lake, Matthew Kretlow (Arla) of Owatonna and Robin Stanton (Eric) of Owatonna; his grandchildren, Logan Paige (Vanessa), Landen Paige (Megan), Stephanie Kretlow, Sydney Kretlow, Drew Kretlow and Macy Stanton; his great grandchildren, Charlotte Paige and Luella Paige; his sister Gwen Tinnerstet; and his sisters-in-law, Carol Kretlow and Betty Kretlow.

Memorials are preferred to Trinity Lutheran Church or donor's choice.
