With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas C. Rau of Owatonna, Minnesota, born in Mobridge, South Dakota, who passed away on December 27, 2020 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Clarence A. Rau. He is survived by: his mother Meta Rau (Holzwarth) of Eureka, SD; his former wife Cindy Beck; his wife Wendy Nordquist; his children, David Rau (Jessica) of Owatonna and Renee Lawrence (Dan) of Baltimore, MD; his stepchildren, Jonathan Nordquist (Gina) of Hibbing, MN, Richard Nordquist (Caroline) of Lakeville and Christian Nordquist (Terri) of Owatonna; and his siblings, Steve Rau (Kathy) of North Dakota, Mark Rau (Katie) of Colorado and Michelle Heacock (Jake) of Broadus, MT.. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to the Minnesota Elks Youth Camp or the Elks Foundation.
