She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Fuerstenberg and Magdaline Fuerstenberg (Kremer); her husband Lawrence Diekmann; her son David; her son-in-law Thom Smith; and her siblings, Arneta Middendorf and Ralph.
She is survived by: her daughter Cathy "Tootie" Diekmann of Hastings; her grandchildren, Sol Renee Diekmann, Jasha Diekmann-Smith-Murphy and Brandon Diekmann; her great grandchildren, Matthew, Blake and Max; and her brother Melvin Fuerstenberg (Agatha).
Memorials are preferred to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, St. Mary's School, or donor's choice.
