She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Kubista and Agnes Kubista (Skalicky) of Someset Township; her husband Linden Gross; her siblings, Jerome Kubista (Annette), Bernard Kubista (Fran) and Judith Staley (Theodore); her siblings-in-law, Celia Marini, LaVonne Gross, Evelyn Trom (Lowell), Ermadell Knutson (Theodore), Alvin Gross (Dorothy) and James Whitcomb; and her granddaughter Crystal Pete.
She is survived by: her children, Gail Pete (Robert) of Onamia, MN, Dale Gross (Debbie) of Bradenton, FL and Kevin Gross of Byron, MN; her grandchildren, Benjamin Gross of Owatonna, Joseph Pete (Katelyn) of Cottage Grove, MN, Robert Pete (Megan) of Champlin, MN, Katie Born of Owatonna, Amber Pete of Onamia, Jeffrey Gross (Alanda) of Bradenton, Zachary Gross of Rochester, MN and JiaYin Gross of Rochester; her great grandchildren, Alan Rischmiller, Tristin Gross, Gabriella Needham, Elliott Pete, Aubrey Pete, Owen Pete, Evelyn Pete, Wyatt Voss, Jeremy Born, Andrew Gross and Jackson Gross; and her siblings-in-law, Joanne Whitcomb (James) and Ronald Gross. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (512 S Elm Ave, Owatonna, MN 55060). A burial will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 1:15 PM at the Holy Trinity Cemetery (9946 SE 24th Ave, Owatonna, MN 55060).
The family requests memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association, American SIDS Institute, or St. Joseph Catholic Church.
