He was predeceased by: his parents, William Standke and Victoria Standke (Wanous); his wife Ione Standke; his daughter Gail Johnson; his granddaughter Heather Ahrens; and his sister Ethel Karaus.
He is survived by: his children, Douglas Standke (Kathleen) of Savage, Thomas Standke (Sandra) of Owatonna and Sherry Ahrens (Bradley) of Claremont; his grandchildren, Jodi Standke, Katie Sundberg (Martin), Andrew Standke (Kaye), Beth Fink (Eric), Eric Standke (Lacy) and Travis Ahrens (Samantha); his great grandchildren, Oliver, Boone Sundberg, Delilah, Fredrik Standke, Ty, Bo, CJ Standke, Max, Zac Fink, Avery, Teagun and Addison Ahrens; and his siblings, Ione Rasmussen of Owatonna and Raymond Standke of Owatonna.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. John Lutheran Church in Owatonna, the Owatonna VFW or to the Owatonna American Legion.
