He was predeceased by: his parents, Ewald Grunwald and Blanche Grunwald (Daniels); his wife Shirley Grunwald; his brothers, Richard Grunwald, Henry Grunwald and Jamie Grunwald; and his great great grandchild Raylynn Deyo.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Lindberg (Toby) of Owatonna, Lynette Hankerson (Dan) of Blackhawk, SD, Jesse Grunwald of Owatonna, Gary Grunwald (Christie) of Waseca and Quintin Grunwald of Owatonna; and his sister Penny Grunwald (Mel). He is also survived by numerous loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Michaelson Funeral Home - Owatonna (1930 Austin Rd, Owatonna, MN 55060). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials are preferred to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
