It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Delna D. Velzke of Owatonna, Minnesota, born in Morristown, Minnesota, who passed away on October 1, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Vollbrecht and Erna Vollbrecht (Meschke); her husband Delbert Velzke; her siblings, Majorie Schwichtenberg, Raymond Vollbrecht and Donald Vollbrecht; her siblings-in-law, Janette Vollbrecht, Mildred Melchert (Marvin) and Curtis Kelm; and her great grandchild Brady Velzke.
She is survived by: her children, Duane Velzke (Mary) of Rochester, Anita Nelson (Gordy) of Waseca, Audrey Pederson of Owatonna, Eileen Johnson of Medford, Keith Velzke (Nancy) of Morristown and Clark Velzke (Patty) of Medford; her grandchildren, Chad Pederson (Andrea), April Glynn (Jeff), Ashley Semmann (Clint), Dan Nelson (Tyler), Julie Nelson (Steve), Jill Pitts (Mike), Jolene Clark (Alex), Leah Foss (Justin), Lindsay Vivier (Levi), Lauren Velzke (Matt), Luke Velzke, Aaron Robinson (Sarah), Wyatt Robinson (Ashley), Bruce Velzke (Kristen), Tyler Velzke (Andrea), Natalie Roemhildt (Drew) and Spencer Velzke (Jess); and her siblings-in-law, Jack Schwichtenberg, David Velzke (Dianne), Marvin Velzke (LaDonna) and Geraldine Kelm. She is also survived by 28 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Morristown, or Camp Omega.
