It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Charles Schaefer of Owatonna, Minnesota, born in Osage, Iowa, who passed away on October 6, 2022, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Amos Schaefer. He is survived by: his mother Marilyn Schaefer Rogers (Haberman) of Adams, Minnesota; his siblings, Mary Lou Byrd (Gary) of Davenport, IA, Alan Schaefer (Judy) of Blooming Prairie, MN, Jane Kramer (Jim) of Virginia, Brian Schaefer (Kim) of Meyer, IA and Vicky Richard (Ron) of Galena, IL; and his nieces and nephews, Nathan, Laura, Maria, Sara, Christopher, Dennis, Gina, Jordan, Kyle, Taylor, Kellie, Lauren, Jacob and Grant. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Sacred Heart Cemetery of Meyer, Iowa.
