He was predeceased by: his parents, Dean Waltz and Doris Waltz (Sandsmark); his stepparents, Dorothy and Arza Palmer; and his sister-in-law Lynn Waltz.
He is survived by: his siblings, Daryl Waltz (Donna), Dale Waltz (Debbie), Dalys Waltz (Diane), Darla Pruitt (Hallie), Dalare Delaney (John), Dylan Waltz (Jennifer) and Darcy Waltz (Yeni); his aunts, Kitty Sandsmark and Darlene Fraley; and his close friend Darcy Lehman. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nephews, and great-nieces.
