Charles R. Herrmann Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles R. Herrmann of Owatonna, Minnesota, who passed away on May 22, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Charles departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Charles may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Charles leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John M. Herrmann and Evelyn Herrmann (Wingstrand). He is survived by: his wife Emily Jean Hindman of Red Wing, MN.; and his sons, John and Tom (Sandy). He is also survived by five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the 761 Foundation, Owatonna Foundation and the Steele County Historical Society.
